Key Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in all areas of Marine Biology at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Develop and deliver engaging and research-informed course materials in alignment with academic standards and accreditation requirements.
- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and other evaluation methods.
- Supervise student theses, research projects, and graduation reports.
- Encourage student participation in scientific conferences, research competitions, and industry collaborations.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
- Contribute to curriculum development and participate in academic accreditation and program assessment initiatives.
- Provide academic advising, career guidance, and mentorship to students.
- Implement innovative teaching methodologies, including technology-enhanced learning, to support student success.
- Represent the university in faculty meetings, committees, and community outreach activities
Additional Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to university accreditation and quality assurance processes.
- Support student recruitment activities and participate in professional development programs.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Dean or College in line with university policy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- PhD in Marine Biology or Marine Science from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the university level.
- Proven excellence in teaching, research, and academic supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to publish in internationally ranked, peer-reviewed journals.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Experience in curriculum development and integrating technology in teaching is preferred.
