Job description

As a postdoc within the VR project “Multifunctional lignin cellulose nanofibril thin films” you will combine colloidal lignin nanoparticles and cellulose nanofibril into novel hybrid nanomaterials. You will use spray deposition in a bottom-up approach to create novel templates with tunable surface energy for replacing synthetic substrates, e.g. for organic electronics and photovoltaics. In order to tailor the thin film fabrication in this bottom up approach, you will use surface sensitive X-ray and neutron scattering to observe in situ the self-assembly and structure formation of the hybrid thin films during fabrication. You will investigate of the influence of typically used solvents in OE on this hybrid materials to verify its usability in organic electronics.

What we offer

  • A position at a leading technical university that generates knowledge and skills for a sustainable future
