Tenure-track Faculty Position and/or Visiting Faculty Position Industrial Engineering and Management

The Department of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (IEEM) at the American University of Beirut, Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Industrial Engineering, preferably at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Department will also consider applicants for visiting positions in all ranks.

The IEEM department in AUB Mediterraneo currently offers one undergraduate program in Industrial Engineering and one graduate program in Engineering Management.

Applicants from all research areas related to Industrial/Systems Engineering will be considered. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. degree in Industrial engineering or a closely-related field, with at least one degree in engineering by the date of appointment. Preferred research areas include but are not restricted to: Operations Research, Data Science, Human Factors Engineering, Project Management, Sustainable operations, Logistics and Supply Chain.

Candidates with teaching experience, industrial or post-doctoral appointments and a record of grant funding and scholarly publications are particularly encouraged to apply.

Brief Background about AUB-Mediterraneo and AUB

The American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo, a twin campus of the American University of Beirut in Lebanon, is approved by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) as a branch campus of the American University of Beirut (AUB) in Beirut, Lebanon.
