Universidad de la Costa (CUC)

The mission of Universidad de la Costa is to train integral citizens under the principle of freedom of thought and ideological pluralism, with a high sense of responsibility in permanent search for academic and research excellence, using for this end, the development of science, technique, technology, and culture.

In the teaching field, its fundamental purpose is to train human talent able to issue dialectic judgments and proposing with their leadership in the efficient exercise of their profession, alternative solutions to face and define real problems with true competence. Inside and outside, the institution promotes inter-institutional relations in order to contribute to the strengthening and renovation of national academic activity.

That is why CUC, has centered its interest in research as a productive activity and digester of knowledge of all its training areas, in the social projection and scientific technical training of its professors and students, all with the intention of contributing to strengthen and develop the institutional policies, framed within the regulation of the Education Ministry and the CAN (National Accreditation Council).
