The Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) is located in the historic center of Rome. It is run by the Dominican Order and traces its origins to the first stadium founded by St. Dominic in 1222. As a pontifical institution, it grants degrees on behalf of the Holy See and is accredited by the Dicastery of Culture and Education of the Vatican.
