We are the first non-public university in Poland. For years, we have been trailblazing new paths
in research and teaching, in the dynamically growing fields of social sciences, humanities,
arts, design, and technologies. SWPS University is one of the most robust research institutions
in Poland. We have been granted the A+ category by the Ministry of Education and Sciences as the
best research centre excelling in psychology and political science and public administration.
The results of our research find practical applications in various areas of life.
We are a community
The team of SWPS University consists of more than 900 people. Everyone, whether in research
development and teaching or administration, contributes valuable experience and knowledge. We
are united in the pursuit of the same goal. We share the same mission, we always act in a
professional way, and we are guided by the values of our University, namely the courage in
solving problems, openness to diversity, and responsibility for the decisions taken. What
distinguishes us from other organizations is the way we develop the strategy of our University –
we work together, taking into account every perspective.
