About the employer

Among the Best European Destinations of 2017, Gdańsk was ranked on the third place. Situated on the Baltic Sea coast, Gdańsk is the heart of the metropolitan area known as Tricity, which includes also the neighboring cities of Gdynia and Sopot. Its total population reaches one million people.

The city is proud of its rich history, dating all the way back to the Middle Ages. Gdańsk has been a prosperous economic center ever since. It is where the World War II started, but also where communism ended with the rise of Solidarity.

Contemporary Tricity offers a wide selection of museums, cinemas, restaurants, pubs, clubs and sport venues. The area can be conveniently reached via the international Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, which lies only 12 km away from the city center.

Gdańsk has an oceanic climate, with moderate winters and mild summers, although in July and August the temperature can reach as high as 30–35°C, attracting both inhabitants and tourists to the beautiful city beaches. The closest one is only 6 km away from the Gdańsk University of Technology campus.
