Chair in Business Analytics

The University’s Information Systems department is wellknown for its reputation. Faculty members have published in Management Science, Marketing Science, MIS Quarterly, and other top-tier  journals. Research at the Chair in Business Analytics concerns opportunities and challenges of the digital economy. We use a broad range of methods such as machine learning, Bayesian methods, field experiments, or text mining.

YOUR TASKS

  • Engage in current research of the group (research in the context of the digital economy)
  • Contribute to top-tier journal publications
  • Support teaching activities
  • Engage in chair activities

YOUR PROFILE

  • Excellent Ph.D. degree in either Information Systems, Computer Science, Psychology, or Marketing
  • Excellent command of English
  • Excellent data analysis skills (e.g., R)
  • Excited about digital business/economy
  • Dedicated towards a scientific career

The position is available immediately on a full-time basis (39,83 hours per week). It is limited for 3 years. If the applicant meets the relevant wage requirements and personal qualifications, the salary will be based on remuneration group 13 TV-L of the pay scale for the German public sector.
