Full-time research and teaching position in philosophy

Job description

       Pedagogical aspects : 

- Teach and supervise at least one introductory philosophy course for all 1st-year Bachelier students in the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences.

- Research documents pertaining to the course

- Teach course exercises

- Explain subject matter, methodological principles and examination requirements

- Correct exercises and exams 

- Explain corrections to students

- Organize duty hours 

- Coordinate guidance and organize exam paper consultations 

- Coordinate collaboration with the entire teaching team involved in the teaching of introductory courses for all 1st year students in the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences.

On a scientific level:

- Conduct research for a doctoral thesis on a subject related to philosophy. A detailed thesis proposal must be submitted with the application.

Variousogistical tasks (such as helping to supervise written exams, calculating and encoding grades, managing the dedicated Virtual University page, etc.) may be assigned as part of this mandate.

Required educational level: Master level  in Philosophy

Required Languages :

Français : (native or near native)

English : (good or excellent)
