Our research group is part of the de Duve Institute, a multi-disciplinary and international biomedical research institute of the UCLouvain in Brussels. We aim at understanding the role of metabolic pathways in controlling the function of hematopoietic stem cells and leukemia cells, in order to provide new therapeutic opportunities for hematological disorders, regenerative medicine and cancer.
Your mission
We are looking for an ambitious candidate to pursue an exciting post-doc project in our lab, aiming at understanding how hematopoietic and leukemic stem cell function are regulated by cellular metabolism by making use of advanced mass spectrometry-based metabolomic analysis.
Your qualifications and skills
What we offer
A two-year postdoc fellowship, renewable. Candidates are encouraged to apply for their own fellowship, if possible. You will join a young and dynamic team, and have the opportunity to work on high impact projects in a multidisciplinary environment with excellent training conditions. We aspire to create a lab culture where all feel welcome, regardless of age, race, gender or cultural background.
