Project Assistant (Prae-Doc)

At the Institute of Structural Engineering/Research Unit Steel Structures, TU Wien is offering a position as Project Assistant (Prae-Doc) limited to expected 2 years for 40 hours/week. An extension to 4 years is being considered, depending on the third-party project funding. Expected start: September 2025.
The position is initially limited to a period of two years, with the possibility of extending the period of employment to up to four years given a positive evaluation and third-party funding. Independently of the period of employment, candidates have the opportunity to write a dissertation. Entry level salary is determined by the pay grade B1 of the Austrian collective agreement for university staff. This is a minimum of currently EUR 3,714,80/month gross, 14 times/year for 40 hours/week.
