Professors in Digital Engineering and Transformation      

We are currently recruiting for Professors with expertise, and an interest in, Digital Engineering and Transformation to join us.    

Building on Loughborough’s leadership in engineering, construction, and design innovation, we’re seeking experts in:  

  • Digital Twins: Applications in sport, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure management. 
  • Digital Construction Methods: Leverage our expertise in BIM, off-site construction, and automation. 
  • Digital Manufacturing Processes: Build on our strengths in advanced and additive manufacturing, robotics, smart collaborative robotics, and digital validation of products and processes. 
  • Creative Industries: Strengthen our expertise in immersive experiences, digital performance, interactive media, and extended reality.  

What we’re looking for 

Successful candidates will have a sustained and continuing record of excellence which has contributed to the furtherance of knowledge in their discipline and is recognised in a well-established and high-profile international reputation. Evidence of significant academic leadership and a PhD, or equivalent research experience, are also essential.

Location: It is anticipated that the majority of the academic roles we have available as part of the campaign will be located at our East Midlands campus in Loughborough. Should you be particularly interested in working at our London campus please state this in your application.
