At the Antwerp campus of the Finance research group (FEB, KU Leuven), we are looking for motivated, independent and enthusiastic researchers in the field of Empirical Corporate Finance. The individualized doctoral program in Business Economics at KU Leuven allows the doctoral student to devote four years to full-time research. The formulation of the research proposal will be part of the PhD activities during the first year (combined with course work and literature review) under supervision. The program ultimately leads to a doctoral degree and prepares the student for an academic career at a top university or a career as a researcher in a policy institution.
