Summary

18-month postdoctoral fellowship in AI applied to industrial processes, within a research project involving large companies under the “Autonomous Systems, Robotics, and Machine Tools” track of the IASMIN Platform (a FAPESP Applied Research Center in AI). The work is to be carried out on-site at the Department of Control and Automation Engineering (DECA) at Unesp’s Sorocaba Campus. The position is open to both Brazilian and foreign nationals. Stipend: R$ 12,570.00 (~US$ 2.400). FAPESP offers relocation assistance for researchers residing outside the area who need to relocate.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree: Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• PhD: Computer Science or related fields (obtained within the last 7 years)
• Knowledge: Python, DL, CV, Transformers, LLMs, NLP;
• Relevant scientific publications
• English

Preferred Qualifications

• Publication of scientific articles, leadership, project coordination, teamwork, and communication
