Description of the research activity:

The candidate is expected to be active in any area of methodological or computational statistics, rigorously design and implement methodological approaches, critically evaluate statistical models, and apply advanced inferential techniques to real-world data and to be active in computational tools (such as R or Python), reproducible research practices, and the integration of modern statistical methodologies with data-driven applications. The postdoctoral teaching activity will involve instruction at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, as well as the development of innovative teaching materials that effectively connect theoretical concepts with their computational implementation, with the aim of strengthening students’ analytical and applied skills in statistics.
