Description of the research activity:
The activities of the UNIBZ unit will focus on supporting the study of interactions between soil, plants, and the microbiome in order to improve vineyard resilience. In particular, UNIBZ will analyze rhosphere microbial communities and their effects on plant nutrition and stress responses, using chemical, biochemical, and molecular biology techniques. The results will be integrated with the agronomic and microbiological data generated within the project to develop models useful for sustainable management. The activities will be carried out through advanced laboratory facilities and in coordination with the project partners, also contributing to training activities and the transfer of knowledge toward practical applications.
