The University of Luxembourg seeks to hire outstanding researchers at its Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT). SnT is a recently formed centre carrying out interdisciplinary research in secure, reliable and trustworthy ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) systems and services, often in collaboration with industrial, governmental or international partners. SnT is active in several international research projects.
Your Role...
We offer an attractive Research Associate position in Computer Vision for Remote Sensing Applications. The successful candidate will join the Computer Vision, machine Intelligence and Imaging (CVI²) research group (http://cvi2.uni.lu) headed by Prof. Djamila Aouada. CVI² offers the opportunity to work on multiple national and international academic projects and in collaboration with industrial partners. This is a fully funded Postdoc position for 2 years (possible extension(s) up to 5 years in total). The position holder will be required to utilize HPC facilities of the University of Luxembourg UL HPC (https://hpc.uni.lu) and LuxProvide (https://www.luxprovide.lu) for Remote Sensing applications in a close collaboration with the industrial partner Hydrosat (https://www.hydrosat.com/).
