Professor of Theology

UCAM (Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia) is seeking to appoint a Professor of Theology who will complement our existing strengths in teaching and research in the academic year 2023/2024.

THE ROLE

The role holder will be responsible for:

• Delivery of the bachelor curriculum in theology in English and Spanish. 
• Design and development of teaching materials.
• Advise, direct, and mentor bachelor students.
• Collaboration with faculty and staff to maintain a respectful and positive learning environment.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate should possess the following combination of skills and experience:

Required:

• Hold a degree in Theology or Religious Sciences valid in Spain according to current legislation.
• Hold Research Higher Degree (PhD).
• Experience of supervising and teaching students in an educational environment (1-3 years).
• Experience working or interacting with students and staff from diverse backgrounds in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge about biblical culture and biblical greek.
• Knowledge about the history and geography of Israel.
• Fluency in English and Spanish - reading, writing and speaking - level C1 or native.
• Excellent communication, presentation and team working skills.
• Identification with mission and vision of UCAM.

Preferred:

• Accreditation of ANECA.

THE CONDITIONS

• Job Location: Murcia, Spain (100% on Campus)
• Indefinite employment contract
• Start Date: September 2023
• Working hours: full-time
• Annual gross salary: 23,000.00 € - 25,000.00€.

Catedrático de Teología 

UCAM (Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia) busca un profesional para el puesto de Catedrático de Teología que complementará nuestras fortalezas existentes en docencia e investigación en el curso académico 2023/2024.

EL ROL

El titular del cargo será responsable de:

• Impartir el plan de estudios de licenciatura en teología en inglés y español. 
• Diseño y desarrollo de materiales didácticos.
• Asesorar, dirigir y orientar a los estudiantes de licenciatura.
• Colaboración con la facultad y el personal para mantener un ambiente de aprendizaje respetuoso y positivo.

EL CANDIDATO

El candidato seleccionado deberá poseer la siguiente combinación de competencias y experiencia:

Requisito:

• Licenciado en Teología o Ciencias Religiosas con validez en España según la legislación vigente.
• Poseer Grado Superior de Investigación (PhD).
• Experiencia de supervisión y enseñanza de estudiantes en un entorno educativo (1-3 años).
• Experiencia trabajando o interactuando con estudiantes y personal de diversos orígenes en un entorno multicultural.
• Conocimientos sobre cultura bíblica y griego bíblico.
• Conocimiento sobre la historia y geografía de Israel.
• Fluidez en inglés y español -leído, escrito y hablado- nivel C1 o nativo.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, presentación y trabajo en equipo.
• Identificación con la misión y visión de la UCAM.
