- Mathematical modeling physical/multiphysical phenomena
- Development and implementation analytical/numerical models for different kind of MEMS devices
- Finite element method simulation development
- Data and statistical analysis
- Scientific communication / reporting of research results
- Project management
YOUR PROFILE
- PhD degree in physics, applied mathematics, or engineering with a focus on mathematical modelling and computation
- Having at least 4 years relevant work experience or postdoc with relevant publication records preferanbly in field of microsystems
- Proficiency in mathematical modelling, simulation, and optimization
- Solid theoretical background in physics
- Expert with FEM simulation methods and tools
- Interested in application-oriented development of innovative sensors and transducers concepts.
- Autonomous, well organized and enjoy working in a dynamic and multicultural team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in project management

- Beginning of the employment: as soon as possible
- This position is endowed with a gross annual salary of starting with € 52.584.- based on the collective agreement for research („Forschungs-Kollektivvertrag“) and depending on your experience and skills.
