The Neuroscience Laboratory / IQ-USP offers a FAPESP-funded postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Henning Ulrich.
The project investigates the action of purinergic receptor modulators in animal models of Parkinson's disease. It is mandatory: to be fluent in English; have a doctorate in Biological Sciences with emphasis in Biochemistry for a maximum of 7 years; have publications in the area; have experience in immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR, western blotting, and cell culture; previous experience in induction of animal models of Parkinson's disease, perfusion, cell transplantation and brain dissection; present in-depth knowledge about modulation of the purinergic system in the central nervous system and in neurodegeneration processes, modulation of inflammatory processes in neurodegenerative diseases and adult neurogenesis; possesses communication skills by presenting scientific articles and data at national and international congresses. It is desirable: to present experience with behavioral testing in rodents. Duration: 24 months. For Brazilians and postdocs from abroad. R $ 7,373.10 per month.
